Parkinson’s Disease and Other Movement Disorders

Parkinson’s disease is a neurological disorder affecting about one million people in the United States and Canada. Many people associate Parkinson’s disease with tremor and slowness of movement, but there are many other movement disorders that can affect people as well.

In this interview, Dr. Melissa Armstrong, assistant professor of neurology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, will discuss the latest in diagnosing and treating Parkinson’s as well as other similar movement disorders.
