Audit Manager and Procurement Officer
This position will conduct internal audits and conduct financial analyses. Will manage financial management system and provide financial reports relating to our productions. Will be responsible for the procurement of equipment, services, construction supplies, information technology and other needs, which must be obtained through the State of Maryland procurement process. Will conduct pre-bid conferences and review appeals and attend Board of Public Works meetings to respond to procurement questions.
We require a business degree, experience conducting financial audits and initiating financial reports, knowledge of the State of Maryland's procurement rules and regulations (COMAR), and at least 5 years' procurement experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with the state of Maryland procurement function. Additional related experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Excellent State of Maryland employee benefits available. Starting salary: $47,000.00 to $59,600.00, based on experience.

Desktop Publisher, Part Time, Contract
Maryland Public Television is a leader in the production of broadcast programming for public television. MPT's television credits include public affairs, original performance, documentary and entertainment programs for the citizens of Maryland. MPT outreach activities, especially relating to education, arts, culture and history, take place in all areas of the state to further fulfill MPT's mission to engage, enlighten and entertain the citizens of Maryland.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Desktop Publisher to work with our team of talented Membership professionals. On an as needed basis, the DP will design and produce a variety of print materials such as the monthly program guide, newsletters, flyers, brochures and ads in support of our fundraising and community outreach efforts. Will collaborate with staff in a variety of departments to determine overall appearance of print products and edit samples and obtain final approval of layout and content prior to production. Will provide in-house production of materials as well as manage vendor relationships for large productions.
We require an Associate Degree in Graphic Art, Computer Science or a related field (Bachelor's preferred) and at least 3 years of experience with print materials as a desktop publisher, production artist or graphic artist. Additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Expertise with Adobe Photoshop, Quark Xpress, In Design and Acrobat required.
This is a part time, contract position. Salary: $16.25 /hr. Candidates selected for interviews will be asked to bring work samples and demonstrate ability on Mac, scanners and color printers.

Telephone Fundraising Representatives
Maryland Public Television is a leader in the production of broadcast programming for public television. Beyond broadcast, MPT creates instructional videos, develops training and builds Internet sites that serve tens of thousands of students, teachers and child-care providers annually. MPT outreach activities, especially relating to arts, culture and history, take place in all areas of the state to further fulfill MPT's mission to engage, enlighten and entertain.
We are currently seeking Telephone Fundraising Representatives to join our team of talented professionals. MPT's telephone based fundraising program offers part-time, flexible positions for persons with outstanding telephone skills, some telemarketing or fundraising experience, and a friendly, outgoing personality! Our representatives contact members and other donors to explain the benefits of membership and to solicit membership, renewal of membership or other donations. These are part-time, evening, contractual positions starting at a rate of $8.00/ hour plus bonuses.
