MPT. This is bigger than television.

Maryland Public Television's all new Vid Kid Road Show
Season premieres at the University of Maryland on April 27

OWINGS MILLS, MD: The Vid Kid Road Show: Version 2.0 is an exciting, fast-paced live stage performance featuring Maryland Public Television's (MPT) Emmy Award-winning children's host Bob the Vid Tech (comic/actor Bob Heck) and his Vid Tech apprentice Brianna (singer Parris Lane). This all new Vid Kid Road Show version introduces young children to the three fundamental concepts of financial literacy - earning, saving, and spending - and includes four original songs to drive those concepts home.

Clever, witty skits give Bob, Brianna, and the audience an opportunity to explore the many different things that can be done with money. But audience interaction doesn't stop there. The Vid Kid Road Show: Version 2.0 also gives Bob and the gang a chance to practice their numbers and learn a thing or two about how to treat other people. The Vid Kid Road Show: Version 2.0 is a half-hour of wackiness filled with life lessons and geared toward children under the age of eight.

Be among the first to enjoy The Vid Kid Road Show: Version 2.0 at the University of Maryland's "Maryland Day 2002" in College Park on Saturday, April 27, 2002. Show times are at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. with meet and greet at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Admission is free. For more information on the event call (877) 868-3777. For a list of upcoming appearances by Bob the Vid Tech, or more information on The Vid Kid Road Show, visit the MPT Web site at mpt.org.

The Vid Kid Road Show: Version 2.0 is made possible with the support of The Baltimore Sun Reading by 9 and its sponsors Verizon and Legg Mason. The show is written by Jonathan Slade and Bob Heck with music from composer David Zee.
