The South Baltimore Learning Center (SBLC) is currently enrolling adults for the Fall 2010 semester\, which starts September 15. Enrollment will be open through early October.
SBLC is enrolling individuals age 16 and older for Pre GED\, GED and Adult Basic Education classes. Day\, evening and Saturday classes are available. The South Baltimore Learning Center also hosts the External Diploma Program (EDP) for Baltimore City - an alternative method approved by the State of Maryland to achieve a high school diploma.

The Forestville Volunteer Fire Department and Ladies Auxiliary will be hosting a Car Wash and Bar B Que Fund Raiser. Car Wash 20.00 each includes exterior wash\, hand dry\, vaccum interior\, wipe down door frame and sills\, no spin off tire shine\, we will also have Bar B Que and beverages on sale. Funds raised will help to pay for the new fire engine we have on order and scheduled for delivery later this year. Come support our department and the community we protect by supporting our functions. If you would like to get a car wash or some GOOOD FOOOD stop by the department no appointment needed.
