Account Executive - Corporate Support

The MPT Foundation, Inc. is seeking a proven Sales Account Executive for our local corporate support sponsorship team to call on the Washington DC metro market.

The Account Executive cultivates and secures financial sponsorships in support of Maryland Public Television's portfolio of regional productions, program acquisitions, special events, and education, outreach and online initiatives, and for managing relationships with those sponsors.

The position will be assigned account list and will be responsible for developing new accounts. The selected candidate will work primarily in the field and will report at least one day each week to the Owings Mills office.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of print or broadcast media; and familiarity with the regional business community as well as media advertising, either from the client's perspective or as a media representative.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or a related field
• Plus 3 years of experience in sales and account management.
• Non-profit experience is preferred.
