Community "revitalization" is an exciting, intimidating, hopeful and all at once challenging undertaking. The journey for some residents may seem uncertain. Maryland Public Television (MPT) will use its unique role as an educator, informer, convener and broadcaster to help address issues surrounding the re-development and revitalization of East Baltimore specifically, the lessons of which can be applied regionally and nationally.

Televised interviews and documentaries, on-line resources and outreach projects will comprise MPT's effort to bring community leaders, urban planning experts, economic development officials and residents together for an on-going dialogue on promises, progress and the potential of the area.
