THINGS TO DO AFTER WATCHING

  • Look back over the list you prepared before you watched the video. What can you add to the list now?
  • Think of three other things you might be able to do with your family to help them start or continue on the road to reading. Try to do at least one of them this week.
  • What help do you need to feel comfortable about supporting your children as they learn about words and reading? Where might you get this help? Think about resources in your community — such as schools, churches, libraries, and community centers.
