Child-Care Providers
MPT’s before- and after-school service for children ages 6-12.

It happens to the best of us: that dreaded day when the ideas run dry. You've got a roomful of restless kids, two hours to go, and you're fresh out of activities. What on earth are you going to do?

Need a break? Let us help.

Maryland Public Television's Ready to Grow service is a resource designed specifically for providers of before- and after-school care. The service offers training, support, and a wealth of child-centered activities for use with school-age children in virtually any setting-because we all have those days when we need a helping hand.

What you'll find in the Child Care section:

What Is Ready to Grow? Discover the philosophy behind Ready to Grow and learn how the service can help in your own child care setting.
