The Grow Right Grow Bright initiative, funded by the Maryland State Department of Education, is a dynamic, new statewide program offering educational outreach and support to informal child caregivers. Through a series of interactive workshops and conferences, professional trainers will utilize videos and hands-on activities to teach participants about Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), asthma, lead poisoning and early learning concepts using PBS programming as a springboard for delivery. Upon completion of a two-hour program, participants will be equipped with significant health, safety and child development resources to help them prepare children in their care for formal schooling.

In just two hours, you will:
Useful tools and tips to help keep kids safe in the home. Topics covered include SIDS, ASTHMA, and LEAD POISONING.
Participate in fun, interactive activities and share experiences in a relaxed, group setting.
We know you love the kids in your care, so take this great chance to BE THERE for them.
