1. Register at one of the participating colleges.

2. Purchase your books at the college bookstore.

3. Access the telecourse:

• Obtain a DVD through the college.
  
  
• On local cable channels serving the college.
  
  
• In the college library or check out tapes.

4. An instructor assigned to the course will send you information regarding an orientation session, assignments, the dates of sessions and exams. You will also receive the phone numbers and hours where you may reach the instructor to ask questions or discuss a problem.

5. Attend occasional voluntary or required meetings with your instructor.

6. Motivate yourself to do the reading and complete the assignments on time. Even though these courses are convenient, they do require a significant amount of time to study independently.

7. Return to the campus for a midterm and final exam.
