In this case, it’s the 5-piece retractable hardtop that allows this open four-seater to double as a four-season coupe. But even with the top up, a large glass sunroof panel makes sure the sun always rises. Add to that the taut driving experience typical of all Volkswagens, standard turbo-4 power, and, of course, a base price under 30K, and it's hard not to set the Eos on a pedestal.
