Geoffrey Drummond- Executive Producer/Producer

Geoffrey Drummond is president and executive in charge of production for A La Carte Communications. He is an award-winning producer, director and executive producer of commercial and public television, cable and home video programs.

Drummond was the co-executive producer and producer of IN JULIA'S KITCHEN WITH MASTER CHEFS, and COOKING WITH MASTER CHEFS hosted by Julia Child and JULIA CHILD AND JACQUES PEPIN: COOKING IN CONCERT as well as producer of NEW YORK'S MASTER CHEFS, GROWING A BUSINESS for public television, FACES OF MEDICINE for Metro Media Television, and THE WORLD WE LIVE IN for Time Life. He created the concept and produced GOING HOME, an ongoing series of specials for The Disney Channel, and was producer of Disney's Garrison Keillor's A PRAIRIE HOME COMPANION.

In the early eighties, Geoffrey Drummond Productions was a major producer of original programming for the burgeoning home video industry, with more than a dozen original programs in distribution for Lorimar, CBS/Fox, HBO, Scholastic and Warner Home Video. In 1985, Drummond produced the MR. BOSTON OFFICIAL VIDEO BARTENDER'S GUIDE, the first successful sponsored home video, and THE ANIMAL ALPHABET, an evergreen children's favorite, both actively distributed by Warner Home Video.

Drummond was co-founder and President of Saga Communications Group, a production and consulting organization headquartered in Greenwich, CT. Under Drummond, Saga was active in international informational programming, with offices in Sao Paulo, Brazil, London and Paris. During this time, Saga also co-produced the feature film, MY DINNER WITH ANDRE, as well as several award winning documentaries.

He has won numerous awards, including four National Emmy nominations, two ACE nominations, two James Beard Foundation awards, two Cine Golden Eagles, an AFI Gold Medal, a Parents' Choice Award, an ACT Award, and numerous others. Drummond graduated from Cornell University, and the Graduate School of Communications at Stanford University.
