Surprising Results from the Long-term Low Fat Diet Study
A recent study indicated something that we were all hoping for: eating some fat may not be as bad for you as once thought. Researchers in an extensive study found that eating a low-fat "healthy" diet did not significantly reduce the chances of cardiovascular disease or cancer. The wrinkle is that the study did not distinguish between fat types: trans fats; good fats; and bad fats.
