Emergency Preparedness
David Snyder chairs the working group on Emergency Transportation, Evacuation, and Sheltering-In-Place under the National Capital Region Emergency Preparedness Council. He coordinated the transportation and evacuation components of the Regional Emergency Coordination Plan first approved by the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments on September 11, 2002 in response to the terrorist attacks against the Pentagon and World Trade Center. He has participated in other terrorism and incident response programs.

Report on Hurricane Katrina
Bob Little was on the Mississippi coast during and immediately after Hurricane Katrina, then made his way to Louisiana in the days after. He was in New Orleans and saw much of the exodus into other parts of Louisiana. Mr. Little returns to the devastated area on Monday, but tonight he joins State Circle to give his firsthand account of what he witnessed.
