Changing Voting Procedures in Maryland
A group of laws changing the way Marylanders vote was vetoed in the last session then quickly overturned by the legislature. The laws provide for early voting and voting on multiple days. A group petitioning to get the issue on referendum has fallen short by a small amount of votes, but the count could result in a prolonged legal battle.
