The state of Maryland recently launched BayStat. The BayStat website allows residents and state government officials quicker access to information on the health of the Chesapeake Bay.

Constellation Energy's Proposed Reactor in Calvert County

Constellation Energy recently filed an application to build a third reactor at Calvert County's Calvert Cliffs site. The plan is an exciting opportunity for the Calvert County government who cite the economic impact of the plant and possible expansion, while environmentalists worry about the impact it may have to the surrounding areas.
