Colonial Williamsburg, the world's largest and oldest living history museum, has a compelling story to tell--the story of our nation's struggle to achieve both freedom and equality. We host approximately 130,000 school chldren and more than three million other visitors each year in our Historic Area, but we realize that economic and geographic considerations will prevent most of our nation's students from actually visiting the museum in person. We have created Electronic Field Trips to make use of new technologies that allow students to "travel" without leaving home.
