This British comedy highlights the antics of a middle-aged woman, Hyacinth Bucket (self-pronounced as "bouquet"), as she goes to many lengths to pursue her higher aspirations. Hyacinth is played by Patricia Routledge; her husband Richard Bucket by Clive Swift.
