Inside E Street launches Season 3 of the half-hour news/ public affairs program that delves into the issues behind the headlines for Baby Boomers. The series features lively discussions from experts and insiders about the latest developments affecting economic security, health care, job security, civil rights, retirement and more. 26 NEW High Definition episodes begin feeding on Mondays starting January 30, 2012.
Since its original release on Public Television Stations, Inside E Street has proven to be a solid ratings builder. Most stations airing this program are doing better with Inside E Street then the program they were airing in the same time slot. Also, the producers are now allowing stations to pull complete segments from Inside E Street (and My Generation) to use in your local news/public affairs programs, or as fillers between programs to extend your public service efforts and localize national content.
Returning to host Season 3 of Inside E Street is Emmy Award Winning Journalist Lark McCarthy. For three decades, Lark was a pioneering anchor in Washington, D.C., covering vital issues and newsmakers in our nation's capital. Her journalism experience also includes serving as a White House Correspondent for ABC News and an anchor for CBS News Nightwatch.
