Maryland Farm & Harvest has been honored with a dozen awards during its 11 seasons on Maryland Public Television.  

The popular MPT series has earned 40 nominations and has received 12 Emmy® Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) – National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter.

These Capital Emmys are presented to TV industry professionals in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia whose work – in a wide range of categories and disciplines – exhibits excellence as judged by their peers from other NATAS chapters across the country.

Additional Award

In 2023, the University of Maryland’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources’ (AGNR) Agriculture Production Systems Committee selected Maryland Farm & Harvest as a recipient of its Cornerstone Award. This award recognizes programs and activities that increase awareness, enhance visibility, or elevate the prominence of AGNR’s strategic initiatives.
