National Hispanic Heritage Month

September 15-October 15, 2022

Asian Americans

Celebrate Hispanic heritage with two series premieres. On September 15 at 10pm (MPT2), La Otra Mirada will transport you to 1920s Seville to meet Teresa, a new teacher at a girls’ finishing school with a mysterious past. Then, on September 18 at 4pm (MPT) and September 19 at 9pm (MPT2), tune in for Singing Our Way to Freedom as we follow the life and music of Ramon “Chunky” Sanchez from his humble beginnings as a farmworker to the moment he received one of our nation’s highest musical honors at the Library of Congress.
